FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT
ABOUT THE DISTRICT
The Woodmen Valley Fire Protection District has an existing mill levy of 9.050 mills to fund operations and maintenance with the District.
At this time, the District carries no Long Term Financial Obligations and does not plan to issue any debt.
Woodmen Valley Fire Protection District’s primary function is to collect tax revenue to fund fire protection and emergency medical services within the District Boundaries, in conjunction with the Intergovernmental Agreement for The Provision of Fire Protection Services Between the City of Colorado Springs and the Woodmen Valley Fire Protection District. At this time, the District is not anticipating implementing any additional primary functions.
